What should I feed my rats?
Good food options include Oxbow, Mazuri, Shunamite. Plus you can include lots of fresh fruits and veggies and other things such as:
Fruits: Apples (without seeds), bananas, berries, grapes, melon, pears, and other fruits in moderation.
Vegetables: Broccoli, carrots, corn, green beans, peas, kale, and other vegetables in moderation.
Cooked Meats: Cooked chicken, lean beef, or fish, offered in small portions.
Grains and Seeds: Cooked rice, pasta, and some seeds and nuts in limited quantities.
Other: Cooked legumes (like lentils and beans), plain yogurt, and cooked eggs are also good options.

How do I make sure my home is rat friendly?
Rats have very sensitive respiratory systems, as such you should make sure your home is as scent free as possible. Avoid all of the following:

Scented candles

Incense

Heavy perfume or cologne
