Located in Oshawa, Ontario Canada. I am a goth girl at heart, addicted to tattoos, mom of 4 grown children, soon to be a first time Grams. My love of 4-legged angels has been a part of me since I can remember. Raised by a hunter/trapper, I had my fair share of exposure to wildlife, even raising a racoon from infancy. Growing up I had the pleasure of playing and riding with sled dogs and horses, Showing in western Pleasure. In the 80’s My family bred and showed cavies and holland lops here in Canada and in the United States. I even had my own little side hobby of breeding satin mice.

Once my children were grown, I discovered rats when I came across a lonely boy all alone in a pet store. Being the spontaneous person I am, I bought him. Sitting in my car and he in a little box, I began to google. It was then, I realized, I was about to go on the most incredible journey. I have now owned rats since 2019 and began breeding in 2022. I’m always happy to learn. Standards move quickly, and I need to advance along with it just as I am happy to answer any questions you may have. As a breeder, I aspire to be the best I can and produce the sweetest rats with the most amazing temperaments. I expect nothing less but the best.

My rat’s health and happiness are of the utmost importance to me. The heartbreak that comes with poor breeding has enforced my belief in doing things right, from health checks by my trusted vet, proper husbandry, nutrition and lab testing for rat bite fever and other harmful pathogens. Rats love to come out to play and adapt to your daily routine. They are very intelligent and exceptionally clean. It is a common misconception that rats are dirty. They are very affectionate. They give lovely cuddles and are child friendly! I’m making it my mission to reduce and hopefully eradicate the unfair stigma surrounding these beautiful chaos potatoes.
